About Me
I work as a software engineer using PHP, AWS, and JavaScript, building and maintaining scalable systems in my current role — mainly around Magento and cloud infrastructure.
While my day-to-day work is backend-heavy, I enjoy moving across the stack. Recently, I’ve been focusing more on React and Next.js through personal projects.
I’ve always been curious about how things work under the hood, and how systems come together into usable software.
What drives me now is building useful things — improving systems, creating tools, and solving real problems.
“Building systems that feel simple, even when they’re not.”
Readable, maintainable code with structure and consistency.
Scalable backend systems and reliable APIs.
Fast, efficient, responsive systems.
Smooth, accessible, intuitive interfaces.

Selected Work
A selection of systems and tools I've built — from cloud infrastructure to full-stack applications.

Automated review requests built for sole traders and small service businesses. Log a job when you start, mark it complete when you finish, and ReviewPing sends a personalised text or email with your Google review link — no awkward follow-ups, no chasing customers manually. Track which requests were sent, see who has left a review, and build the social proof that turns enquiries into booked work. Designed for plumbers, electricians, cleaners, and anyone who does great work but struggles to ask for feedback.

A calm wedding planning workspace — guest lists and RSVPs, drag-and-drop seating, itineraries, vendor docs, and announcements in one place instead of scattered spreadsheets.

A cross-platform database client for web and desktop (Mac, Linux, Windows) — connect to PostgreSQL and MySQL, share queries across your team, automate reports, and get email alerts with role-based access control. Currently in active development.
